7/7/2023 0 Comments The illustrated mum tattoosOverall this book is certainly worth reading as the author provides an opportunity for me to understand the life of dolphin and how she struggles with her dyslexia. The way The Illustrated Mum was written made me feel as though I was part of the book and was experiencing the story. I could not put this book down and felt as though I had to read the next chapter to see what was going to happen. This book is told by Dolphin although there are a number of different characters that play an exciting part in the story. I really enjoyed this intriguing novel called The Illustrated Mum. Dolphin does many things so that Star could come back but will these actions finally lead to a lunatic asylum or will Dolphin at last find her real father? And will Dolphin get her family together? Then all of a sudden Star has gone to live in Bristol with her dad. Marigold has done many bad things to her children she even threw the sweet card that her dyslexic child Dolphin made for her birthday in the bin in front of the bewildered Dolphin. Click Here!!The Illustrated Mum by Jacqueline Wilson transports you into the complicated and miserable world of Dolphin and her beautiful sister Star and her slightly mad mother Marigold, a woman filled with tattoos, from the ugly snake on her neck to a ridiculous frog tattoo between her toes.ĭespite the fact that she promises over and over to her daughters that she will not put another tattoo on her body she still does.
